I love them both. Football's success is surely to do with the fact that just about everyone has had a bash at some stage, and lots are relatively good at it. Its in the papers because people buy the paper to read about it. Not so many people have had a crack at motorsport and therefore couldn't care about it.
Regardless of the nationality of those playing the game at the highest level it's good to watch. Senna's lap at Donnington in 93 was the best ever. Does the fact he was Brazilian detract from that?
Does the WTCC really deserve a lot of national press coverage? I don't think it does. 'We' would read about it, but who else would? I think you'd be doing well if you walked down any high street and found anybody who knew what the WTCC is.
