You have not stated whether you want to take payments through your site such as selling products through your website, whether you want a list that the user can search (database) and whether you want pictures / video. Other considerations are having a forum on your website.

If all you want is an information type website that just basically tells people who you are and has all your contact information with a few pictures, well that's pretty straight forward but if your looking to have a searchable database and/or take payments through your website or sell products through your website with pictures for each product and stock availability then although it's easier than it used to be it still requires a lot more work and planning than a basic information type website.

So to sum up, a website is straight forward to set up but gets more and more complex with the more functionality and user input you incorporate into the website.
