I understand both sides here - and youre both right, its was a funny joke that possibly could be deemed offensive by guidelines drawn up by government departments. That took me a few years to get my head round and wether you agree with it or not, is the shape of things to come and theres nothing you can do about it.

A man goes to his doctor and says “Doctor, my leg keeps talking to me.”
The doctor said “Don’t be ridiculous!”
Suddenly the man’s leg says “Lend us a fiver.”
The man said “Do you believe me now?”
Before the doctor could say anything the leg shouted “Got a tenner?”
The startled doctor said “My God!” and the leg quickly replied “Hey Doc, can you spare me twenty quid?”
The doctor thought fo a minute and then said to the man “I know what your problem is. Your leg's broke!”
