I'm sorry if you've found my comments distasteful there 'lambstales'. They don't represent any personal beef I have with the police but merely observations based on fact. Few would disagree that the actions of the police in the North of England were totally disproportionate to what occured. We're extremely fortunate that innocent people, or even police themselves, weren't killed or injured by their actions.

To illustrate my point, you might like to explain why this particular double murder, one of which occured only a few miles from where I live a few days ago, didn't have hundreds of armed officers flooding the streets of North and East London.
