Yeah it is odd because I had also heard the same stories about 3, hence my trepidation, but it was the only network I hadn`t tried, and it has solved my problems.........customer service is awful, but then again, so was o2 and vodafone so, although it doesn`t make it right, nothing lost there.
Just been watching a report about iphone 4 on BBC breakfast news, about the new patch to adjust the signal bars, and, as the reporter said, what difference does this make anyway, when the complaint is that the entire signal is disappearing and calls simply cut off?
Apple have really handled all this very badly, from Steve Jobs initial statement of "Well, don`t hold it that way" (how in hells name does ANYONE hold a mobile phone), to not delaying the launch, and, if they were unable to do that, at least do a recall on the units already sold and sort the problem out properly, rather than try to fob off users with another load of crap.
The old adage of `any publicity is good publicity` could have come from the very mouth of Steve Jobs, unfortunately, like some of his other statements, it simply ain`t true..........
