"Taking your peculiar view to its limit; you end up with the situation where no Kart Racer should be allowed to use a National Health ambulance..... becasue....."
Taking your peculiar view to its limit, you end up with the situation where there is no Kart Racer. Afterall, how many deaths are too many? As you state regarding speed, "if I save just one life it is worth it..."
Can't you accept that a line has to be drawn somewhere at what is an acceptable risk from the point of view of the competitors and what is an acceptable risk from the point of view of wider society (i.e. should it be televised/encouraged etc) and that where you draw that line is different from where others draw it? Why should you be the arbiter of what is acceptable?
