If there was a movement to ban the TT and it was successful then the sights would soon be set on other motorsports. The fact is this - children have been killed racing go-karts. Karting has also put a lot of children in hospital with serious injuries. The TT has never once killed a child! Irrespective of numbers and how many people are competing this is a fact you can not just throw aside.

The difference between karting and the TT is that most TT riders are aware of the clear danger involved. The riders are not stupid, they know the risks. Who are you or anyone to say it should be banned? If someone wants to risk their own life racing the TT that's their and NOT anyone else's responsibility. That's what living in a FREE country is all about.
