"i have an interesting point. experience. if someone is a racing driver who races cars and the did this since say 16, is this not alot of experience"

Insurers have found that certain professions are more likely to have accidents than others. Professional racing drivers are more likely than most to have accidents entirely because they are used to driving at a speed that causes other drivers to miscalculate. We all know that overtaking a novice is fraught with difficulties, not because you cannot go past, but because they might do the unexpected.

This is borne out by other related studies too:

Fans of computer racing games are more likely to drive aggressively and be involved in real-life road accidents, psychologists have found.

German researchers said their findings are evidence that playing racing games can result in taking more risks on the road and raised concerns children as young as 10 play games like City Racer, Crash Day, Critical Velocity and Burnout 2: Point of Impact. By the time they were old enough to get behind the wheel of a real vehicle, they could be programmed for risk-taking, the psychologists said.
