The girlfriend has cash and wants another car, just sold mk1 TT and she wants another convertible, luckily for me she can't function without a sportscar.

Test drove a Z4 but the ride is sooo harsh, put that down to the run flats.

S2000's she doesn't like, too boring looking

Elises/exige's have no refinement

She loves the new Focus RS in green we looked at in a showroom but still silly money at Ł28k, maybe next year she said.

Merc SLK not sporty looking

Arghhh, im starting to pull my hair out.

Went to Graypaul and Porsche centre in nottingham, now its a Boxster but its got to be in metallic black and must have 19's, all too expensive there!

Now she's got me scouring the net for a Boxster, i want a 911 but for 06 onwards and anything decent looking like with a GT3 aero kit then its still sill money.

I really haven't hated car shopping so much as i have today, in the end i said just find the car yourself and let me know when you want a lift to fetch it, its like blinking shoe shopping!
