Overheard a mum saying smuggley to her polo driving friend " this is why we have our big 4 wheel drive vehicles so we dont get stuck in the snow"

10 mins later I saw her stuck in the snow and her friend drove around her, after I stopped laughing (a good 5 mins) I went to help her. She didn't know you had to select 4 wheel drive or what all the other buttons etc meant.
Then another mum in a 4*4 with permanent 4 wheel drive got herself embedded in a hedge , just kept her foot down and wondered why the steering didn't work!! its 4 wheel drive she cried as we helped her out off the car.

Certainly cheered up my day. Its not only women drivers who haven't a clue how to drive in snow and ice FOOT DOWN AND GRIT TEETH seems to be the norm !!
