I always sneered at anything Apple, Macs, ipods etc and went out of my way to avoid them. I'm with O2 and was given a blackberry last year. I really didn't get on with it, it was slow, the keypad was rubbish and in the end I dropped my stance and went with an iPhone.
I'm now a complete convert. You'd have to prise it from my cold dead fingers. I find the internet a bit slow, maybe the new 3GS solves this, but it may just be the area I'm in has bad 3G coverage. The apps are fun and lots of them are free or very very cheap. There's an excellent free stopwatch app for when your watching those laptimes. originally I was disapointed with the battery life but i found reducing the email "push" frequency helped a lot.
