To be honest, having seen some of the things people have said on here, I`m now having second thoughts.
I did say in my original post, that I have never had a problem with the service at all......no downtime.......nothing.
It just seems odd that for the last 5 years I have paid the same monthly direct debit, at the originally agreed price (allowing for the odd small inflationary increase etc) then, all of a sudden, they deem fit to literally make a one off increase of pretty much a full month. It isn`t like gas and electric, where you might pay estimated direct debits and then it catches up.
Equally, I suppose it could be said, well it`s only £30 or so, what does it matter?
Several million x £30 or so DOES matter and instantly adds many extra millions of pounds to BT`s already bulging profits.........and at a time of year when most can least afford it.
But, as been said, perhaps better the devil you know......
Then again.......that is EXACTLY what BT rely on, isn`t it??
