I am surprised at the price difference aswell. My little brothers mates all pre-ordered the game for well over £40, my little brother didn't buy into all the rubbish about the game running out, he held his nerve and bought it for £26 from Sainsbury's. I could have bought it for £20 from Makro and that's including VAT. So if Makro were selling it for £20 then what price did they buy it at? And does this mean that some retailers were making nearly £30 gross profit on each game?
That kind of markup is unheard of in products of such high demand in todays resale market, it would normally be about £5 tops for such a product. And why did the developers sell it to the likes of Makro so cheap? They could have fixed the price at £30 and still got the same amount of sales.
