What doesn't seem to be considered in this debate is that people & political parties can change. The right wing history of the BNP is not that far removed in terms of extremism from some of the left wing policies of the old Labour party, yet we have allowed them to come back into the centre.
I'm not saying we should automatically trust what is said, but we should at least listen and form our own opinions, rather than be spoon fed the sometimes equally extreme opinions of their opponents.

IF you take what the BNP says at face value then some, if not most of it, is quite reasonable. Of course that's a big 'IF', although as Nick Griffin himself pointed out, why should you trust him any less than any other politician?

I'd also challange the view that the BNP is making the issues of immigration etc. more difficult. On the contrary, the one positive contribution they are having is starting to break the taboo on even discussing it. Which is 90% of the problem.

What is Ironic though, is that many of the people who demonstrate against the BNP are the same people who jump up and down in defense of Foreign regimes, whose views and policies make the BNP look like Snow White.
