What was it Ferrari said about Brawn GP and that Ferrari had lost out due to them "sticking to the letter of the regs' (or as they understood them)".
I apprecaite the STR and Ferrari situations of why there is a driver change are different, but.
The STR driver was a rookie and only got some F1 experience by doing straight line tests - you used to have to do 'x' number of km's before you could get teh licence.
The Ferrari replacement has just a few years experience of F1 cars, abit not the latest spec, but he has now also has actual track time to get his reactions up to speed.
Maybe if Ferrari could seal both Schumy's car adn Kimi's so that no new parts could be put on the other team might have considered it. But I think we all blatently know that any test for Schumy in the latest car will not be used to just get him used to it, there will be some new part tried and tested.
