in what he said then maybe it was a valid point to argue their case that their car was legal.
IMO the diffusers should have been banned and they should have rewritten the rule book and allowed the first 3 races to stand under the understanding that the error was the clarity of the rules rather than anyone breaking them. All you are going to get now is pretty much what we have already had, cars not able to follow as closely to each other and millions being spent on aero packages.
Without the diffusers it reduces costs and in theory makes the cars much more equal to each other which is what everyone wants.
I can't see Button walking it to the title, Red Bull has shown extremely good pace and if they get a diffuser then they might be the one's to watch, especially Vettel even though I don't think he is matured enough as a driver to compete with the likes of Lewis, Alonso... I do think that he is mature enough to bring a car home and if he has the best car then I think he could be the one walking it to the title.
