Why is there a need for laws or their enforcement when it comes to exceeding a speed limit at all ?
Where its perfectly possible to physically prevent something from happening [i.e. a vehicle exceeding a speed limit], why does the government choose to focus 100% of its resources on entrapment ?
Note, a person [human being] gets drunk but a vehicle [controllabe mechanical device] speeds. People do not speed. They control the machine that speeds. Technology is available today to wrest control of the mechanical device and prevent it from exceeding a speed limit.
There are plenty of devices on vehicles to prevent them from doing dangerous things e.g. engaging reverse while moving forward, and because of that we don't require laws to encourage people to behave accordingly.
