Why is prevention still only in the planning stage when the technology has been around for years ? Entrapment is not only being aggressively implemented, the levels of technology and stealth deployed to do it are becoming increasingly sophisticated.
I don't know about, nor do I care about, some experiment on the A14 which is about as useful to us as demonstrating that water turns to steam when boiled. Once again, I'm not debating whether speed causes RTAs or not. I'm saying that if the government set a maximum speed on a road, then its their responsibility to ensure the vehicles travelling on that road NEVER EVER breach that maximum, not even momentarily, and that can only be done by speed limiters. In 2009, to do anything else can only be viewed on with cynicism or skepticism.
