Role model - CERTAINLY NOT. That is if you consider her life in totality.

The fact that her situation has raised the profile of this despicable disease, then GOOD

The fact that she is making provision for her children by putting her situation in the public eye - WHY NOT? THAT'S WHAT ANY PARENT WOULD DO GIVEN THE CHANCE.
Is it just a case of people knocking anyone who is trying to benefit out of a bad situation that they are in.

If what she is doing can save just ONE life, by making people aware of the drastic consequences then - GOOD ON HER.

A person, VERY close to me, who was of a similar age to Jade, was diagnosed with cervical cancer and nearly lost her life. The subsequent effects:- unable to bear children, premature onset of the menopause and all that involves, serious emotional trauma etc.

I notice that all of the comments are made by males. Perhaps they should ask their wives / partners what they think about it. FORGET all of the reasons why she "came to fame", but consider what her current situation is doing to help others.
