I have cancelled my HD subscription !

Like everyone else who signed up for it, I was amazed there is so little difference in picture quality. On some programmes you can notice a bigger difference in quality, but not many.

I have been without it for over a month now and have not missed it at all. It seems all the programmes that I watch are broadcast in normal definition anyway !

I still have the HD box (which is the 4th one in a year) and it is still playing up (freezing far too often, losing recorded programmes, having to be reset far too many times).

We also have the normal def sky + box and that has been faultless since we got it a few years ago.

With the amount of rubbish transmitted now though, we are looking at cancelling the whole Sky package and going down the freeview route, as we do not feel we are getting any kind of value for money.
