Ok so the debate goes on - LH guilty , justified penalty, which some will see as harsh, but rules is rules. David Coulthard sums it up very well on the Autosport web site, take a look. Ignoring the stupidity and lack of knowledge of the conspiracy theorist amongst us, I recall that a few years ago, (cant remember the race), Shewy got a drive thru penalty towards the end of a race. He pitted within the alotted time, instead of taking the last corner and chequard flag, in doing so crossed the finish line 'in the pits'. As I remember it, there was a bit of uproar about it at the time, it was explained there IS a finishing line in the pits and in doing the drive thru MS crossed the finish line in the pits and won. Im sure someone will remember it better than me. So maybe the lesson to learn here, instead of mindless babbling on what you hate about F1 and how it is so unfair on your hero.... IS..... read the rule book, it will stand you in good for your racing career in karts and cars, never feel or even dare think you know all the rules or interpretations. Most importantly here 'its not your interpretation of the rules that counts' - its the Stewards/COC - respect them - motorsport is not a football match. If you get a call against you, take it like a man, move on to the next race, there's a season of races, the driver/team who does this best of all, with a pinch of luck, wins the championship - thems the facts. Good luck to all in the end of this season races.
