They said before this weekend though that the improvements for this weekend will not show as much as it's an engine circuit and they can't max out the engine yet due to reliability.
It certainly shows in the laps times for qualifying. If you look at the practise session times and compare them to qualifying, well Mclaren are the only ones who don't improve in qualifying, they did the same times as they did in practise, where as the rest improve by 1 to 2 seconds.
I think it's because they just cannot push the engine that hard at the moment for 1 flying lap. They seem to be going for race pace and reliability with the race pace, not the qualifying pace. So as long as their engines don't fail then I would expect to see them moving up the grid pretty quickly in the race. Probably a top 10 finish, if they finish.
