Spice: you are an idiot!

What the HELL do you think us Councillors can DO about such things? It's the bl**dy LAW and we have to swear to uphold it! We do NOT enforce it and we didn't choose to HAVE these damned stupid laws: we are STUCK with them.

Yes, I CAN disobey the law and YOU (or your parents) will have to pay the fine I get and THAT will come out of your (your Parent's) taxes and it will STILL be enforce against all common sense.

As a councillor, I am 'responsible' for a hall (venue for parties, weddings etc.) where I am told that if ONE more event goes above the acceptable noise level (and they WON'T tell us what that level IS, mind you!!!) that I am at risk of PRISON! Do you think I should fight to allow the noise limits to be breached? Would YOU allow the noise limits to be breached if YOU were me and could imagine the prison gates closing on you....? Like HELL you would!
