That's all very well and good for you to say itpro but those of us young enough that the first two didn't really affect us we're struggling here!
I'm 23, having to work as a traffic warden as its the only full time job I could find (everything else is part time!), struggling to pay bills some months because I can't go and live with my parents. My Missus can't get a full time job for love nor money, even in the field she's qualified in (beauty therapy) so we have to make do.
We never go out, we don't have sky tv, I've had to reduce my phone contract so our food shopping could stay the same (£50 a week) we've just been stung with a massive electric bill and our house leaks air like a sieve because the windows are the years old and half the rating they should be, which our landlady refuses to sort.
And then you go and say we've got to man up! Cheers, I'm struggling because other people years before I started working cocked up!
And to blame labour is ridiculous, last I checked I thought the banking crisis caused this WORLDWIDE recession, not the Labour Party!
Oh, and one more thing, I applied to join the police in 2010, was accepted, had a start date, but guess what happened when the Tories got in? Budget cuts! My intake was scrapped! So I had the chance to make our (fiancee and i) lives better, but they f*#%ed that up for me too.
Apologies for not agreeing with you, but I can't support a government that give the rich a tax break and then strap on the purple love aid and bugger the rest of us into oblivion!
PS. How much had the deficit reduced up to now? Or has it?!
