I lean labour but to be most peoples devils advocate...
It's interesting talking about fairness. The rich do not use public education (privately educated), the rich also don't use public healthcare (private heathcare), they use barely any of the welfare budget (they're rich).
These are major things we spend the UK's taxes on, yet when we talk about fairness we normally are talking about the rich paying MORE.
Now obviously these things need to be paid for, and should be paid for by those most able to pay...but i do find people who self-rightously proclaim that they should pay less and the rich more...a bit strange. Surely they should be more grateful that Rich people are basically subsidising them whilst paying for services they don't use?
Im not rich in the slightest, just find it a bit interesting thats all.
