In what way have I not taken WHICH argument to the extreme? How am I being morally inconsistent.
For me to ban the TT if there WERE no spectators would need me to argue that Motorbikes, driven just for pleasure, privately, should be banned. I am not THAT far away from that view but I choose NOT to go that far! My argument is RING FENCED by the 'spectator' 'clause' and I'll stick there for a while.... if that's alright with you.
Put succinctly, I object to GHOULS watching a 'sport' for the vicarious thrill of watching others suffering REAL danger that is likely (in this case, VERY likely) to lead to death. It's oart of the reason why I object to Boxing, too.
Show my why that's wrong.... noting, of course, that you will be SUPPORTING the ghouls if you do!
