You'vbe nopt been fopllowing the thread before. Yes... it's a 'free country'. Yes, the TT (imbeciels!) choose to race of their own free will.

But.... is that enough....?

As with all 'arguments', you can 'test' them by taking them to an extreme. Your point is, if it's their CHOICE to do XYZ, that should be OK.....

..... are you SURE about that....

It's 'their choice' if dog owners set dogs against badgers or other dogs. Does being 'their choice' make THAT ok?

You could argue that the dog fight is different as it wasn't the DOG's choice (actully, it usually is.... but I accept the point).

So, how about bare-knu8ckle fighting. Both participants have made the CHOICE..... Would THAT be ok.....?

Taking that further, Gladiators (ancient OR modern) would ALSO be 'making the choice' to fight. Are you HONESTLY claiming that Gladiatorial combat in open arenas SHOULD be allowed because that TOO involves only people who 'made the choice'.

Personally, for me, wherever I 'draw the line', the concepot of Gladiatorial combat uis DEFININITELY UNNACCEPTABLE to me. Just becasue it's 'their choice' dopesn't absolve the SPECTATORS of utter moral degredation and it;s the FACT that SPECTATORS are involved that clinches it for me for Gladiators AND the TT!
