At the moment the concorde agreement says it has to remain on free to air tv and not pay per view, i know its a sore point with some as technically you need to subscribe to sky sports or HD to get F1 so it isn't actually free really, but then again nor was a BBC tv licence.

The concorde agreement runs out at the end of this season so it'll be interesting what Bernie and the teams come up with, it'll be very confusing and contradicing if they choose the PPV route
