Photo driving licences, passports.... all daft really!

The fact that they MIGHT just impede terrorists entering our country, criminals exiting or entering, and thus might even save lives, is COMPLETELY irrelevant. The fact that photo-driving licences make an EXCELLENT proof of identity, might prevent numerous illegal drivers sharing a driving licence WITHOUT a photo, might allow the police to check that you ARE entitled to drive and a hundred other good reasons, is, again, irrelevant!

I think it's quite unacceptable that any of us ought be to inconvenienced in ANY way or may have to comply with photo rules ESPECIALLY if it means you may have to PAY to be kept safer........

The real reason they charge is so that the staff in Swansea (who take ALL the money, personally) can have big houses and cars because, as we all know, the ONLY passport centre is in Swansea.... the others like Glasgow, London, Durham, Newport and Peterborough are all fictitious and NO ONE has a big house there!

Still, you have to think, they'd need to pay ANYONE a fortune to live in WALES..... surely!
