Yep, I have used avast (free version) for about 5 years now, seems to work fine for me....only thing is, if I have the sound turned on my notebook or laptop, the occasion pop-up that tells me my virus database has been updated sometimes scares the bejeesus out of me.....but other than that....lol

Forget stuff like Norton and McAfee......awful, and will grind your computer to a virtual standstill.

There must be other good free stuff out there too, but Avast does it for me, so.....if it ain`t broke, why fix it??
