well i cant argue with results
and i did say watch the next few races
however, the things to note are:
1) jb has definitely upped his game (all the pundits agree with this), so well done to him. my comments on him being bland, boring, slow, etc, previously still stand.
2) circumstances again helped jb yesterday. he has to thank webber for taking himself out and putting massa down the order. thats two places gained for free.
he was also able to be on better preserved tyres when he caught up with 'finish a race at all costs' hamilton and swervy
3) i think michaelg made the point (something jake humphrey alluded to also) about if the lh and ms roles had been reversed would there have been uproar?
4) lewis's comments after the race, although not long, spoke volumes. "thats racing". i just hope he doesnt cite what was done to him as an excuse for his next visit to the stewards office.
hopefully we will get jb and lh head to head soon
