How am I having trouble. He was cruising doing 1 min 25 secs dead laps pretty consistently from lap 64 up until the last 2 laps. THEN he did a 1 min 25.85 secs and then a 1 min 27.7 secs. So how am i reading it incorrectly?
"yeah, so totally different to what you said initially"
how is this different to what I said before? I said as soon as he came out (and it was totally dry) he did his best lap. It happened to be around the point it dried that Lewis did his fastest lap 3 laps after Button. So 3 laps less fuel would obviously help Lewis get a 3 tenths faster lap time. Not hard is it? surely?
Had it rained then Lewis would have been on the right tyres and probably won. BUT it didn't. That's not luck it's just weather. I personally think it would have been lucky if it had rained more and decided the race based on a chance tyre call.
