I love them both. You may guess that I am very passionate about a certain west midlands club !
I think its due to the fact that football is more of a spectators sport than motor sport is. Motor sport caters more for the competitor rather than the spectator. Its easier to follow and when you spectate at a football game you pay your £40 and you get to see all of the stars right in front of you. They can't hide away in a garage / motor home and you don't have to view behind a wire fence. You also feel part of a special community with your fellow supporters, all united together on a saturday afternoon.
Following motor sport is more for the enthusiast and thats why F1 is the only M.sport that really grabs the sport headlines on a race weekend.
