I wouldnt have a problem with it as long as the adverts were not too intrusive. Maybe a spit screen would solve it. I do think the coverage would be better if you look at what they do for football, golf and cricket. To be honest I dont think its fair to spend the licence payers money on F1 anyway.
Appreciate the possibly lower revenue for sponsors due to the lower audience figures but still think a large part of sponsorship comes from association rather than the actual viewers looking at the race. Have no problem as a sports fan paying for a quality service that I enjoy.
I do wonder how long the average sports fan (rather than f1) will put up with the dross of the recent years. Before they worry about selling I think an improvement in the product is needed 1st!
