They may have `saved the club`, but then again, who knows what might have happened had the `porn kings` not stepped in? Maybe you would have seen Middle East connections( ala Manchester City) step in, maybe not, perhaps they would have thrown money at the club, perhaps not, who knows?

Lets not forget the kudos involved with owning a premiership club also, do you really think that Gold and Sullivan took on West Ham simply because they are good ol `Gor Blimey` East End lads? Perhaps Karren Brady can run a business, but I wouldn`t want her as the `face` of my club.

Don`t get me wrong here, I really want to see West Ham in the top tier.......they SHOULD be in the top tier, they represent over the years, a lot of what has been good in the English game, but they need to appoint someone like, perhaps, Gus Poyet to mastermind their recovery, or soon they could be meeting great old ex premiership rivals such as Sheffield Wednesday.......

It was a big fixture 20 years ago... ;-)
