Me couple of weeks ago

Unlock back door jump in van drive about 1.5miles down hill from our village backend of the van's feel's a little slippy, jump out of the van (Still on the steep hill) tyres a little flat, got my moblie compressor out wacked some more air in head home where it's flat so I can change the wheel.
Arrive home happy days!
Get wheel brace out, youve guessed it, it's been thightend up by someone with a 12ft scaffold pole! Out with the lump hammer sorted.....

Time for the jack, got the new and unused VW jack out and started to wind, thinking to myself it does'nt look right as the jack folded in half luckily I put the spare under the cill of the van as my dad always told me to.

No jack time to call the AA, been with in the AA for 5/6 years now never had to use them till now.
"Hi got a flat and my jack has snapped in half" AA "no problem sir where are you" me "I managed to get it home" AA "so your at your home address sir" "yes" AA "I'm sorry sir your don't have home start on your package so we are unable to help you" "FCUK" "what package do I have?" AA "roadside realay" "well what's that then?"
AA " if you breakdown ANYWHERE in the UK well will get you sorted" "I'm in Stainland" AA "anywhere in the uk as long as it's half a mile away from your home address"

Took the jack to VW who told me it's not a jack for a transporter.

No siht.

IS IT ME!
