SPEED DOES NOT KILL!!!!....well not alone anyway...there are wayyyy too many factord involved in a crash to single out speed alone as the cause of death!.....

....often its not how fast you hit something but how hard that thing is, how well built/how the object your in absorbs the accident and most importantly what angle you hit something!

ive seen some truely horrific crashes where i thought theres no way the guys gonna get out, take nascar for example, 200mph stright into a concrete wall...most walk out ok, same in drag racing. theres a critical angle of 30 degrees, if you hit less than 30 degrees then the momentum of the car will continue and dissipate slowly, if you hit at more than 30 degrees at half the speed you have a good chance of coming to a dead stop, very quickly! side impacts are also very nasty as there is less protection/ the body cant take as much force in that direction

so does speed kill???? NO....is it a factor in fatal car crashes YES!...theres no denying that if your doing 200mph and crash you have more chance of getting hurt than if you are doing 30mph, but then again ive seen more racing drivers killed at lower speeds than higher ones!
