Many people have TRIED to prove what you claim and all have failed..... so far
If they'd known .... all they needed is your sworn statement..... well... your opinion is enough for you so... why is it not enough for the REST of us...
Although I know you to be a nice bloke, your claim doesn't QUITE do it for me, either!
Oh.... and most tarpaulins are NOT 'registered' by Gatsos..... unless they are made of Mylar...... and there are not a HUGE number of those! In case you don't know, tarpaulins DON'T reflect radar. Secondly, Gatso Radar reports the AVERAGE speed of the moving reflecting items.... not the PEAK speed of one small part! If one part of your 'shutter' was going forward.... it's a pretty good bet that ANOTHER part is going BACKWARD..... and thus the averaging!
One example of proof is where many Sailing Boats carry a Mylar reflector on their mast so they CAN be 'seen' by radar.... their sails (unless made of Mylar for racing sails) do NOT appear on Radar!
If you want further proof, simply bring your tarpaulin up to me and I'll show you on MY radar gun!
Oh.... and please don't tell me about the police radar detecting a Tornado plane.... it DIDN'T happen!
Ian
(Mylar is a fabric which DOES reflect radar!)
