But, SURELY you can`t argue that, if I struck your child in a car travelling at 30 mph, your child would be battered and bruised, but would, in all probability survive and recover.

If I hit your child at 40 mph, it would very, very likely result in death, so how can ANYONE really say that speed does not cause death......it does....it must.

This almost seems to be starting into a discussion of the `speed limits are stupid and I should drive at what speed suits me.....so long as I don`t hit anyone`......

Speed kills!!!
