F1 Regs definition of KERS:
1.20 Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) :
A system that is designed to recover kinetic energy from the car during braking, store that energy and make it available to propel the car.
If they have a system that can only be charged in the pits then that contravenes the regs (in my view).
