We are back on to the silliness, again.
Yes.... if the TV program contains pictures that DESERVE being viewed in HD, then it just MIGHT make sense.... David Attenborough, Patrick Moore's Sky at Night, beautifully filmed stuff like the current version of True Grit, etc.. but.... 1960s, badly acted, war films? You just HAVE to be joking!
The extreme would be siuggesting that South Park looks better in HD..... as I have already suggested.....!
And how about my 17ft wide Daily Telegraph example.... it may have been frivolous but it IS a justified example.
Thed other 'argument' would be to sit down and watch a PROPER film.... like Casablanca......, North By North West, Psycho, anything by Buster Keaton.... all in Black and White...... THEN tell me you need HD....
You are being sold a PUP.... the TV companies are pretending that delivering HD make up for lack of them delivering HQ (High QUALITY) programs!
