latest news is that surgens are trying to save his hand/lower arm, it was severly damaged in the crash, at first they thought they were going to have to amputate, now they think they can save it, but how much movement there will be left noone knows. it appears that the end of the armco barrier went through the front off the car, through the engine bay and hit robert on his leg/arm, so needless to say it must be pretty nasty.

again theyre still in surgery and announcement is due at approx 7pm uk time.

either way hes not going to be driving for renault at the start of the year, if at all.
