i very much suggest they have argued in private over the whole thing, indeed the lib dems went out and looked at options such as the graduate tax, but the report into higher education conduted by the labour party, when they were in power was finished the other week and even said there was no other option than to increase fees, so whether labour, lib dems or conservatives were in power, it was going to happen

get used to politicians 'lying' unfortuantely they have to keep the interests of the entire nation in mind, while its a sore subjects, students are a small part of the population, the alternative is to increase taxes to cover your fees, why is that fair to others??
