Looking at the film it could be that while he was celebrating he may have applied some brake pedal pressure and as DD2 has front brakes linked to the foot pedal unlike KZ there may have been a grab by the front left causing the violent turn to the left.
Ammending Newshound's comment about the burger van, it was in Italy so not too likely it was burgers but probably a vey nice pasta stall and a bottle of riocha!
