like i said in the other thread you started gitpro.....

we won't see as there are too many other factors at play

the number of younger drivers is a lot less than when speed cameras were first introduced.

the boxes still remain in place so some people will still slow down. this combined with people knowing they are inactive may make more incidents happen

you may get people showing off and stupidly exceeding the limit to prove a point

were people driving above the limit immediately before and after the camera. to see if an increase in incidents occurs you can only, time for a gitpro, ONLY consider the length of road with the graduations. you cant include any incidents before and after these sections of road

there are many more considerations and data processing that would have to be done. to get a reasonable sample for the job is just not possible

speed in itself does not kill and never has. how fast is the earth moving again?! :)


plus the site that showed an 88% increase is near the mini factory. the sample taken after the 'switch off' was made during a factory shut down and hence the road was less congested. comparing this data with busier times (reduced average speeds) is just plain wrong.
