This is silly......

You are simply CHEATING here at EVERY stage....

Take the HGV sitaution..... does the Speed Limiter on an HGV prevent it doing 35mph in a 30mph limit? Because that is EXACTLY what you CLAIM is being done by them..... So... you CANNOT claim that because we fit CRUDE and MONITORED speed limiters in DIESEL engines that we could fit a MUCH more subtle device in a Hybrid CAR!

Just take the NEXT complication, for example.... how would YOUR device 'know' that I was towing a TRAILER and thus my maximum speeds should be reduced by 10mph on many roads?

It IS your responsibility to describe this thing ACCURATELY when you CLAIM that it could replace speed cameras! If you CAN'T describe it's workings, you are hoping I will believe some MAGIC WAND approach..... and I have grown out of believing in Harry Potter!

Yes, the money for the FIRST Gatso(s) was(were) paid for by the TaxPayer.... but that money was RETURNED in fines and the 'profit' re-invested in NEW Gatsos et5c. Currently, Gatsos and specs have cost the taxpayer... ZERO and actaully return a SLIGHT profit! Show me how YOUR device will do that!

I see you have abandoned the RFID design because it CAN'T work....... sadly!

Being brutal.... we LOOKED at the RFID approach VERY early on and could see it was a non-starter.... the ONLY approach which 'works' is a GPS system which defaults to 30mph (and maybe, even LOWER) if it loses access to the signal. As you can see, I have looked at this on a deeper basis than you would have expected. I can't tell you MOST of the stuff for contractual reasons. And you know WHY I have looked at this stuff!

So.... I'll go back to the starting position. If you can show me/us a METHOD of making the system as SAFE (for the drivers) and RELIABLE as Gatsos (remember... a FAILURE of a Gatso puts no-ones's life at MORE risk than before it was installed!).... approach me with details and I'll put it 'forward'.... until then, I'll treat further discussions of this subject like I do with Singers' 'water powered engine'.....!
