1) I am NOT investing without a design! Without a 'design' I can;'t see if it fits the FIRST rule: Practical!

2) There's still FAR too many cars on the road to which you COULDN'T fit it! Not THAT many cars have the required digital speedo for a START! You also cheated by NOT mantioning how you do it for ALL the types of engines I listed!

3) RFID **IS** a method of 'cars knowing where they are'! Good thinking......and how does that work over the distance of a motorway or any other WIDE road, factor in the costs of all the roadworks to INTALL the RFIDs in the road surfaces? Or variable limits? Or how you prevent a lorry carry7ing 'metal stock' from BLOCKING the RFID signal from cars travelling beside it.... or how you stop someone STEALING a 70mph RFID from a 'lampost' aned sticking that OVER the onboard RFID sensor and thus having their car 'set' to 70mph for their WHOLE journey! Or how you prevent someone fitting a 'hacked' RFID to their car set at 300mph...... RFID will NOT work! It's been 'looked at' and it CANNOT deliver reliable information to cars!

4) HGVs are checked 'daily' (via their Tachograph) by the 'employer'. Who's going to check MY limiter.......?

5) That's amusing...... it WAS the cost.... and NOTHING else! It was NOT a matter of policy.... if so... why haven't the Conservative scrapped the Census or Passports or Credit cards or Loyalty cards all the OTHER.... VASTLY more 'intrusive' 'surveillance' 'services' out there?

6) Ta..da..! You have now spotted the 'lie' therein.... too! I have been pointing this out on THIS web site for WEEKS! It is either NOT about 'cost cutting'..... or there IS no 'profit' in cameras (oh yes there CAN be.... if run properly..... but it's NOT huge!) I am not sure I comprehend your use of the word 'frivolous', here!

7) Cameras are MUCH more popular than hitting EVERY driver with a one off Ł500 to Ł1,000 per vehicle RFID reader and limiter..... plus all the annual maintenance costs!
