Couldn't believe it. I think I've just witnesed the attempted murder of one of motorsports much loved and admired drivers.

I have spent years trying to admire and to see any good that may have existed within Schumacher. Now all I see is a arrogant, selfish old has-been who isn't as good as he pretends to be who refuses to recognise a faster driver.

He was only ever really won when he was with a top team who together with the FIA and the tyre manufacturers, who bent over backwards to develop a car for him. And even then he was still given a driving lesson by Barrachello. Result? Pull over and LET him win.

Penalty points....! He should lose his F1 licence for this. Try a stunt like that at one of our monthly meetings and you would find yourself being pulled off the track, packed off home and not allowed back.

He's a liability to the sport and the BBC should just ignore him, send him to Coventry and focus only on his team mate who is a proper talented driver and a real star of the future.

Rubens Barrachello is lucky to be alive today - thank God. More like him.

Ban Schumacher.
