England played there best football yet for this world cup, they played with passion, they ran for the ball and they had quite a few shots on goal...it just happens that they were up against a better football team. Sometimes you just have to be realistic and now is the time to be realistic, if you struggle to beat USA and Algeria then how can you expect a miracle to happen and we beat Germany?

My opinion is that the team played with passion and were just outplayed by an incredibly good on form Germany attack. Cappello needs to go though, who on this planet would bring Heskey on? Alan Shearer surprisingly spoke the hard truth on air, why bring a player on who hasn't scored regular goals for the whole of his career?

I was a bit surprised at Shearer being so blunt but it's the truth, nothing against Heskey but the manager?????

Joe Cole was another extremely poor tactical decision, all the managers fault. Todays game was all about tactics and we didn't have any tactics.

England did play well today though, they were just caught out at the back and the goal that was disallowed was ridiculous.
