Bad day really.......fathers day......no Vale.

Will still be great though, especially with weather set fair.

Did Donington about 5 years on the run early noughties, GREAT weekends......80,000 people (on the Sunday)........great weather (sometimes)

........and.........it always brought me brownie points too, seeing that the ex-missus`s family lived in Derby.........it was the ONLY time I was delighted to visit.....lol

My abiding memory was Rossi (who lived here at the time, although I don`t think he does now) saying in a post race interview (having won) that "It is always nice to win your home race"

In those heady days, I seem to recall that Marco Melandri actually had a house in Oakwood, Derby.....and Carlos Checa in Harrogate........

Happy Days........gone forever.........well at Donington ever.......CRIMINAL !!!!
